What are you using for a sound card?

Do you notice any issues with fan noise?

Furley: That was a joke right...(about the burn in 'fix')????
sound card is a sounblaster live 24 bit 5.1 digital card..dell's are very good with fan noise and I do not notice it at all even with everything off..I mean you can hgear it, but it is very very quiet..

and as far as I know there is no burn in fix..

I have the Dell 8300 runnin Media Center 2005 using a Radeon 9800pro and although it's just normal 27" FlaT tube the there's alot of static in the connection and it's not my S-video cable cause it's the one I use for my dvd player. Sometimes it goes away but most of the time it's there, wondering if it's something with my video card?
I am running XP with dell media centre power DVD..i am also setting up a zoom DVD player with FFDshow post processor and nvidia codecs for better quality..I do have to say though that power DVD with the dell software is incedible at 1080i..no complaints at all..

Yeah I had the Dell Media Center as well but took it off and went to the media center 2005. I see your using the Radeon 9800Pro as well, I might see about switchin to the adapter for it cause the S-Video connection is just horrible scrolling static lines most annoying. Can you use the adapter as normal component or strictly HDTV?
