Did you try to get a quote that way? It may be cheaper still.

And like I said, try Wawanesa. They seem to favor young males.

Guess what? Turns out that's quite expensive.

Pay or change your habits.

Yes, getting your full G will drop your rates.

In most cases, your own policy will not cover you if you're driving a car you're not on the policy of, unless you explicitly ask for that coverage. Which of course costs more.

Yes, the rates will go back up if you add yourself as a secondary driver.

But remember this: Insurance companies DO investigate things like this, and if it turns out they find out one way or another that you are in actuality doing the lion's share of the driving out of you and your mother, they will either drop your policy or deny coverage when you make a claim.

Bad times.

Getting your full G will drop your premiums. Substantially? Probably not, but at least it'd be something.

Also a rate drop at 25 y/o.

So just design a time machine.

Shouldn't I not even mention I have a new brunswick license?
and the insurance that was cancelled before happened in new brunswick..

If I shut the **** up about that will they never find the information?
Thanks.
I have another post on this topic somewhere. When I recently switched, the chick on the phone rattled off about a 20 year history of who I was with, what vehicle, claims (none), etc, etc. I was astounded they had all that.

If you fail to declare something, it may slip through the cracks UNTIL you file a claim, then you can bet your *** they will check.

You have a driving record. Nothing you can do now but suck it up and pay through the nose.

Big financial factors are record, claims, age, how long you have been driving, and maybe marital status (I forget now).

Try a few of those online insurance quote things, see what you can come up with.
