I played football with like five or six young peel cops, and they were absolutly the most maniacl guys on the field back then, and not much has really changed. Apparently large territiory and no partners most of the time makes the more 'gung ho' attitude a bit more suitable.

I think you should worry about the beep test more than the obstacle course.
The course is not really that hard, as long as you're in decent shape.
2 years ago when I was in amazing shape I got to 9.5 when I thought I'd easily get to ten. It's though. My brother who is a bit bigger for his size had a hard time with it and just passed at 6.5.
It just depends on what kind of shape you're in really.
