i am aware that a contact can be written up without a lawyer present.. but it needs to be written up properly for it to mean anything

and not to be rude or an ***, but by the way the situation has worked itself out, i doubt it was written correctly..

Ok...so I'm an idiot...whats it to ya?LOL

Anyway...I have still not seen a broke down car or any cash or anything else.

So come Monday,if money allows,I will be putting a lein on the car and filing small claims against him.

Why wait you say?

Because of the hours I work..that'll be the soonest I get to it...

So we will see what happens..

A few things before you do this.

Did you ask him for the money? and did you ask why he didnt have it yet? and when you will get it? Did you ask him for the car back?

You might need to give it more time before you take this to small claims court.

What does it say in your contract about the length of time after a non-payment? - ie. if he misses a payment how long does he have to pay you before you take action?

Think things through before you jump to them!

Red face

I just Finally found out that the car is impounded!!

Jackass tells me he needs to come up with money to get it out so he can take it to a shop to get it checked out.

I explained to him that broken or not,he still has to pay me the agreed amount.

I told him if this thing is broken,Iwould be happy to help him fix it....Idont have to,I'm not responsible to,buuuut,he has to start working with me a hell of alot more...

I told him he has til Sunday morning to get me the $120 he owes on the last payment or,impounded or not, I repo the car...

Stupid me!As I'm typing this I realized what a stupid thing that was....

I should just let him keep it,but make him pay for it still!!He signed the agreement...

I'm not a very good bussiness man am I?

One way or another I"m fed up with this!

</font>
There is a correct way and incorrect way of doing things.

Just having on a piece of paper "you owe me $... money" is not a contract.
