Cool Unbelievable acciedents

Another thread got me thinking.......

Back in 1996 i had one of my buddies was driving the 401 on his cbr 900 RR going like 220 kmh when a pick up cut him off, he had no time to swerve and rearended the truck,my buddy went right over the handlebarrs with wicked force only to slam into the back window/ roof area and landed in the back of the truck!
He wound up with a sore shoulder(nothing broke)! Well the bike went end for end for awile, when it came to rest it was sad looking to say the least.

Theres gotta be some good stories out there like this, LETS HEAR EM.

Ok, here's my story, nothing amazing but funny nonetheless.
I was driving on 401, we had a big traffic pile up. There was a dude in the center lane just slightly ahead of me, I'm in the left most one. What cought my attention was that he had the lcd screens duct taped to headrests . So while I was staring at those stupid tvs I did not notice that my whole lane stopped. And guess what, it was too late. I was going around 60-70, but managed to hit the brake, still rear ended the car in front of me, was kinda bad. Luckily my airbag sensor is bad and the bags don't work, otherwise I think I had a chance of having them deployed . And the lady's car only got paint chips. But I'm really unsure that whatever is under the bumper is still in tact. She never called me anyway whoooohhh..

This was my first car accident and for a stupid reason.

Not to sound rude, but I can't think of too many 'accidents' that weren't for stupid reasons...

Since you never specified "car" accidents:

I was out hunting with my buddy when I was 14 or so (farm kids ya know) and he had his gun over his shoulder as he hopped over a very large downed tree. I was too close behind him and when he jumped down from the tree I was jumping on to it. When he hit the ground his rifle went off (likely hit the trigger with some of his clothing) and shot my hat off.

Two or three inches lower and I wouldn't be writing this today.

Hardworker thats a good story. when i was around 14 i was playing with someone's gun. i pulled the clip out and put to my head and pulled the trigger.....everyone in the room almost had a heart attack. i was too yonge to know that there could have been one in the chamber. this was in moscow and if u have a gun there its highly likely its locked and loaded and ready to go.

I wonder what the determining factor was in this... what an idiot (no offense to you)...
