i was going down highway 130kmh and this guy in a Tercel started to pass me on the right lane which pissed me off.
so i floored it as he just got ahead of me -> the idiot didnt shouldercheck OR show turning signal and started to move into my lane (i guess he cut me off sorta)
i slammed on my breaks and berelly avoided hitting him..
oh yeah did i mention it was raining REALLY HARD

ive gotten kinda fearless driving on highway i dont care if i die or get hit; too many close calls i guess

 

You know what really pisses me off. Idiot stick drivers. It seems that this forum is just full of them. You don't care if you get hit or die? This is great news, one less self centered idiot on the road. Give any thought to the innocent persons life that you might take with you in your "blaze of glory"? Gave any thought to landing in a wheelchair the rest of your life and then incarcerated for vehicular manslaughter? Don't drop me the soap. Grow the **** up or hand in your license.

 

Agreed. I make my living driving on the roads. The oblivious SUV driving soccer moms and cell phone talking half ton drivers are enough for me to contend with, without having to worry about some suicidal retard who "doesn't care". Aren't there any tall buildings where these people live?

 

Anyone who buys a crotch-rocket I automatically assume is either mental retarded or of a diminished intellectual capacity. I just don't understand it. You may be smart but until you prove it to me, I will continue to assume you are stupid. Once you buy one of these bikes your life expectancy drops to like 5yrs. I just don't understand why someone buys one, especially in Canada where snow covers the ground at least half the year. This just in: driving faster doesn't make your dick any bigger.

Generally it's not the riders that are the problem, it's all the other motorists who either don't pay attention, or don't care. they cut off bikes left right and center, drive too close, and pass like ********...

That being said, there are a lot of riders that act like idiots too, but I see way more people in cars doing stupid things around bikes than I see riders doing stupid things...

Quite true, but I still can't justify spending thousands of dollars on something that will reduce my lifespan and increase the chances of my dying exponentially.
I might as well take up smoking crack.

It's hard to argue that this is the trucks fault. When someone is doing 220 on a bike, basically anything in front of it is 'cutting it off'. Even if people drive bikes properly they are still death traps IMO.
