and cars aren't? it's all relative. just think how many lives would be saved if they just made it harder to get your drivers permit, like actually test their driving skills....

I have much bigger issues with that, than I do with bikes on the road, that's for sure.

Cars are much safer than bikes! If I was on a motorbike and hit a pole doing 120, not so pretty. If I was in a truck on the other hand, no biggie. Cars have seatbelts, airbags, and all kinds of other stuff to protect the people inside. But ya there are tons of people on the road who are nuts, and it doesn't matter what they drive. I guess I don't understand this need to be faster than everyone else, it's not like we have an Autobahn around the corner.

I totally wish that driving laws would change, they have to some extent. When I first got my license I was a terrible driver, and it ended up costing me a shitload!

And people don't wear them... do you know what a 30MPH head on collision in a car looks lke if the driver isn't wearing a seat belt? and that's at just 30.

if people wear their seatbelts, and drive properly, then yes they are very safe, but on the other hand, if riders, and motorist drove properly how are bikes any less safe?

Ok we will get into a head on collision. I will be in a car without my seatbelt, you can be on a bike. Afterwards you can tell me if you still think that a bike is safer than a car.

I didn't say it was safer than a car, that's you hearing what you want to hear. I was saying that it's not the bike that's unsafe, it's the rider, and other motorist around it. and to tell you the truth, you get into a head on going 120kph without a seatbelt, and I probably wouldn't be able to tell you anything.

why not get the best of both worlds.........put a bike engine in a car....the SMART car. 0 to 60 in under 4.5 seconds, quarter mile in 10, for under $35k and for 1/4 of the insurance cost, AND you get a seatbelt too! Take that Ferarri!!

you'd be the faster GoKart on the 401.

When he hit the ground his rifle went off (likely hit the trigger with some of his clothing) and shot my hat off.

Two or three inches lower and I wouldn't be writing this today.

man You are VERY lucky bro

This just in: driving faster doesn't make your dick any bigger.
Actually in some cases this may be true as speed freaks tend to have a "hardon" for speed lol.
