I would like to echo the appreciation to the brews and for the site in general. We have fun and spirited discussions without calling each other names (dink accepted) or questioning ones parentage. I am honored to participate and find it informative and fun... very seldom is information fun.
Thank you for being patient with a Yankee

Honestly I don't think this board has much of a problem. It's 3 or 4 of the same jerk offs making names and posting. This site rules. I think it'd suck if it closed down!

Great idea for a post guys!

Here's my two cents.....

I have been a part of this forum for the past few years, and felt that this site is a lot better than others that are similiar in nature and content. When I first joined, a lot of knowledgeable and MATURE people posted on here and the site gave off the impression that it was good source for information. It had a ton of info for the newbie to the experienced car audio freak to absorb and always was interesting and appealing to all. Now it seems overrun with the exact opposite.

As for most recently, I do agree with what's been said so far. A ton of morons are now a part of CCA, a ton of BS posts and not a lot of information being posted that actually relates to car audio, in anyway shape or form. Not saying a ton of people are actually bringing the site down a notch, but, the ones that are, are being so very obvious about it.

Whacker, you will ALWAYS get people bitching about this and about that. No matter what you do (banning, deleting threads, etc, etc.), there will always be someone who will disagree with it. But as a volunteer to this site, you are doing what you see as best for the site as a whole. And I think you should be applauded for that, you put the time in to make this site what it is and help it run. So what if someone complains about this or that? You are trying to do what's best and using your own common sense. That's all that anyone can ask of you or anyone else. Just stick to your guns and keep plugging away.

I also agree that there is lot of things that can be done to improve the site and filtering the amount of crap being posted. But it's hard to keep on top of it. I think as members that have been here a while and have seen and heard everything that's on here, we should perhaps be more responsible and help out by reporting more posts to the mods to give them assistance when dealing with the assclowns that infiltrate the site. Also, if ya wanna have conversations, keep it to msn or the lounge. If someone says something stupid or retarded, report them. Simple.

Anyways, in short, the site is not as good as it used to be. It can be improved, but we all have to take some responsibility in doing it.

'Nuff said. Lets give those running the site a helping hand!

This site is wicked, I try to leave but I keep coming back, I've been known to get into it with a few people over the years, I'll leave for a while , let things blow over and then come back, I think I learned that in grade 1 or 2. It's really not worth fighting with people on the internet, because, honestly, who's REALLY listening? Your computer screen? I never stay mad at anyone for very long, that's how you get ulcers and stuff and I always welcome anybody's oppinion even if I've said otherwise...except the 2 morons that were here recently.

I'd like to help out in anyway possible to keep stuff like that from happening again, just give the word and I'll do whatever's in my power to stop that crap. I don't like it and I know nobody else does either. It's one thing to joke around, but when you start posting idiotic remarks on everyone's threads, people get pissed. An talking about someone's mother is not cool at all, I'm glad this is only the internet, because whoever that guy(s) was, they'd have been very uncomfortable last night if they were anywhere near me.

You gotta be ****ing me? Isn't there laws against this kind of blasfamy?
Interesting way to start the post... I do believe I remember your humble beginnings on this board - talking up about some "slammed van" that most likely didn't exist and bragging about your legacy gear . . . but people let it ride and now you are much better informed about car audio, and I'm sure that your car sounds better than you ever could have imagined 3+ years ago when you first joined.

But hey, this site is about learning, I've learned a tonne, so have you. And yeah, there are some really REALLY annoying posts out there, but with time they will either become educated or leave.
