I've only been a member of this site since the summer, but I must say, its a fantastic place to converse about car audio. Very intelligent minds are here, and I've learned quite a bit.

My compliments to the mods and everyone involved in keeping this site genuine and clean. I think they do not get enough credit for all the work they do.

Sure, there is an occasional spammer, but hey.. I have yet to see a cleaner forum than CCA.

This site used to be one of the best out there, but recently the level of intelligence on here when it comes to posts really leaves things to be desired and I have stayed away for that reason.

Being a mod over on Revscene I have a little more respect for mods now and see why things get edited or deleted. I think this site could use quite a bit more editing and deleting.

I lurk on ECA, I like it better here. Why? It's a Canadian site, and because of competions, I can put a face to many of the names. It's a friendlier atmosphere and I'd rather get an opnion/advice from friends rather than some I-think-I-know-everything-about-audio people.
I mean ECA is a good, usually informative site, but not really my thing.

 

I think there's Mod jealousy happening over on RS on Dukk's end.

 

Interesting way to start the post... I do believe I remember your humble beginnings on this board - talking up about some "slammed van" that most likely didn't exist and bragging about your legacy gear . . . but people let it ride and now you are much better informed about car audio, and I'm sure that your car sounds better than you ever could have imagined 3+ years ago when you first joined.

But hey, this site is about learning, I've learned a tonne, so have you. And yeah, there are some really REALLY annoying posts out there, but with time they will either become educated or leave. </font>[/QUOTE]Hehehe, yea, my slammed Astro with 10 18's or something like that lol, I remember that, that was pure BS, just trying to sound cool cause I didn't want to sound like I didn't know anything, the van was real the system wasn't, it had 4(crappy) 15's in sealed boxes and then 2 "big" Legacy amps running them.
Oh well, yes I doknow a lot more now than I did back then, bulls***ing is useless so I don't do that but apperently I lie about the equipment in my post.
