I bought my machine from FS before I worked there. It's an HP and aside from my daughter breaking the floppy drive (which I could have gotten replaced on warranty but didn't bother) it has been flawless. Yeah it has built in soundcard and only two memory slots but I knew that when I bought it - for a little more I could have gotten a component machine.
Oh yeah - and you can go in and get a machine built to your specs. Whatever you want you just add and it gets built for you.
Any in-store financing can be good or bad. FS gives you 90days no interest always which is great for small items and if you watch and buy a computer when they have them on for 24month equal payments with no interest that is the best deal

Grrr I lost my last post. Lets see if I can redo it.
Both my wife and I are running Dell's. I had a problem last year with my hard drive and they sent out an tec with an replacement. Both have had upgraids like memory, DVD burners ect. We put them in here ( cost efective ).
Up until I had my Dell I was very hesatent on going this way but now I'd recomend the Dell plan to all. We have financed and Dell offers lease if you like. I guess it less $$ ans easyer to dump/ upgraid.
My 2/c worth. And no I don't work in the coputer industry.
