I just got back from Calgary for my now annual 4-day escape from the praries (did the same last year heh). Anyways my g/f and I went white water rafting while we there. The joint was in Canmore but we went on the Kananaskis River. We went on the 3rd craziest (out of 4 trips they offer) and it was pretty tame really. The start of it was wicked because there were some nice little drops and crashing rapids and whatnot, then it mellowed out for most of the rest of the trip down the river. At the end it was sweet because we ended up in this resevoir and got to do some games standing on the edge of the raft and do flips off of it and stuff heh.

ANYWAYS has anyone else tried white water rafting before?? I thought the tour we did was a good introduction to it, but I really want to go do the 2nd hardest one now because the actual rapids stuff was really a blast.
