NHL Question
I have a couple of questions that no one seems to know.
Owners locked the players out, but what about the coaches, scouts, trainers and medical personnel ? Are they still getting paid ? These are key people with each team who are not going to sit around and wait to be paid, they will go find other jobs.
I was just wondering as a couple of my dad's friends were equipment and medical trainers for the Canucks up till the middle 90's and I know how much less they make then players and how this could affect people in their positions.

I heard on the radio they were paid for the first time eysterday since the lockout began. I think it was around $10,000 to each player. Injured players I think are still getting paid full salary I believe. Jeremy Roenick is still hurting from last season and it said on CNN he is still getting his full salary.

Yeah If a player is injured he is paid his salary until he is medically cleared to play. Once the player is medically cleared the teams are no longer responsible to pay. As for Coaches, team staff etc. They are still paid there salaries. No matter how long the lock out goes for.
