Strapping Two Amps together ?

now ive strapped two amps together before that were identical amps but i got rid of those ages ago. so anyways my question is i got this new amp which is strappable and a decent amp i got for cheap . but they done make that amp anymore but i can get another amp same manufacture that is strappable aswell but is different rms and such . they are both mono amps and they are both same class amps and such can i strap these amps together to power couple 15's ? also amps are same series just slightly newer then the other one is it safe ?

"two amps" "couple 15s" Why not just get as similar an amp as possible and run one amp to each sub? They obviously won't be 100% identical but it's as close as you're going to get OR sell the amp you have and upgrade to something that can run both subs.
