Eclipse AVN2210p giving some problems
Hey there
I recently urchased an ECLIPSE AVN2210p head unit for my wife's Toyota 4Runner. It's a fantastic unit, however, it's already giving us some problems.
A few times now, it has frozen up on us while playing a burnt CD. It will play the first few tracks, and then decide it won't play random tracks. Also, twice we've had to reset the unit as it would freeze up in EJECT mode.
Secondly, the built-in bluetooth handsfree calling feature. The set-up was complete and fully functioning - which I think is frickin dope...but the other party cannot hear me
so far - the navi is awesome - haven't removed the TomTom to try out the portable featuer - but after changing the voice and other settings...thie thing works awesome.

alright - here's an update - in case anybody actually cares
The unit has been replaced for the 3rd time now - and (knock on wood) hasn't given us any reason to return for a 4th.
Turns out, Eclipse had a few bad batches go out - and have been bombarded with returns. They are being great in terms of accepting the returns - but it is a hassle to say the least.
Despite the malfunctions - I still think this is a great unit, iPod controls are quick and easy, and the navi is great

My Eclipse CD7100 is in for cd's not playing after a track or two(even brand new right out the package - then it won't eject after that. Plus the LCD screen and deck won't boot when it's -7 or below and no remote signal to the amps - All I get are the deck buttons lights!. Lets just hope they replace it with a good one! Maybe the CD7200mkII (wishful thinking)
The new deck is so beautiful I'd love to display it in plexi on my dash!
