what do you think?

hey all, I'm designing a sub box for my truck. I'm using 2 Pioneer Premier Ts-W2000spl Subwoofers. They are going to be in their own enclosures. I designed enclosures then figured out what the volume would be. If I build them the way I want each box will be right around 4 cubic feet with sub in for each sub. They are going to be ported.

Think this is to large for these subs?

If not what should the measurements for my ports be to get around 35-40Hz?
I was thinking of building square ports on the outside of the enclosure, but I can build it on the inside to take up some volume if need be.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

14 x 14 x 30 = 2.2 cuft with 1" MDF. You'll want to add port space to that, it should be around 2.7 cuft total, 5.2 cuft for the whole box. You won't be able to fit that either unless you use two boxes, which I've been wondering about for 4 10"s. Just do what I'm doing, take out the back seat and throw in 2 good 15's. Atleast you'll have someone to compete against LOL.

I already took the seat out yesturday. I already have the subs I'm using, I've had them sitting around for the last couple years collecting dust. I need to keep the enclosure low profile so that the dog can sit on top of the box.
