admit it Rob. The guy only got his second chance with you after you stood him up is because you were distracted by a "price check".

Seriously though, I am glad no one other than the chump was hurt.

Thumbs up hero of the day. They should post your write up in the Echo and make a weekly news story.

Joe, you know what, there was actually a number of price checks at that particular time that had come to see what was going on.... I was not paying enough attention is indeed the fact. I wanted to make sure that the knife he had was not anywhere that he could get to it should he break free.

The other bar had two stabbings on Sat. night and one dealer was knocked unconscious. Awww, too bad. One guy is fighting for his life in Victoria right now, the other is in ICU here in Comox. They were the dealers friends and they went after the guy who knocked the dealer on his butt. Amazing at the shat that happens these days.

good god, how low do you have to be in your life, that a 50 dollar HU is worth stabbing someone over?? I can understand why the losers steal it, but to take it to that level for 50 bucks...

Theives Sucks

We always get our caps stolen. I have chrome wheels and of course the caps are attractive to the little punks that have no clue what respect means.... then we (car owners) pay out for their stupidity!!! I go see the owner of our wheel shop and he took pity on me, because now this was happening almost every week. (Yes, trust me I was looking at the kids that ride their bikes in our area to see if they had my caps on... but it's hard to pin it on them)
So now, my purse is full of spare chrome caps, just in case. How hilarious is that!

Well, the Subway beside my store got jacked at knifepoint last night. A$$hat came in the front door, locked it behind him, went up behind the counter with his knife drawn and went for the loot. No description as he was all in black head to toe and arms as well. There was a customer in the store that booked it out the front evidentally. WTF is wrong with people.
