I want to register for event (otherwise would be showing as spectator) but I don't know what to register for. Unsure what my system would allow me to enter into?

My system could possibly do SQ, or SPL. (although unsure what db I'm currently getting)

just do both. the sq will give you a sense of what you're listening to, and the spl will give you bragging rights. and spl is fun. unless of course you look loud and in truth are soft like Downy, then its a shameful, shameful process

Me and my bro and gonna try to make this our first show ever. The competing will be a last minute decision probably, but I WOULD like to know what the van will do.

So, yeah, I need conformation and some hand holding.

The the beginner/rookie classes are a basic ' Run what you brung ' type?
Just put in three sub classes by the judges? No real rules except for safety?

With almost 2 months to get ready, I'd be down with that

I guess I'll have to get reading.

Are those the Iasca rules in the general SQ forum?

The only shows I used to take part in was, Beach parking lot bumpin' and " Hey nice system" shows in parking lots.. I actually miss that.
