*tap, tap* sarcasm meter??

 

I've got a new toy to fuel my SPL monster-amp (power acoustik a2400db, and yeah I'm kidding) for the show... you guys better watch yourselves.

As you can see, I haven't been able to get it to fit in the existing battery spot under the hood yet but I'll try again tomorrow. It's too tall, and the hood won't close... I'll have to do some work on the tray. If I get lazy, I might just decide to keep it in the trunk and get my *** handed to me in street C instead of B. A big thanks to the guys at FX audio for hooking me up with this thing.








I did some testing free-air with an old 15" for fun tonight. I noticed a huge difference... power never dipped much lower than 12V with the car off. The coil's ****ed on that sub, and it reads around 5-6 ohms for some reason. On a side note, the amp busted out 50.5 volts and 10.4 amps, so 500rms and change.

 

That's a pretty sick looking battery! I'm jealous.

 

Maybe some day you'll get it as a hand-me-down!

it looks like some of you guys have crazy stereos, i cant wait to see them.
me i have a honda civic with 2 10s in it with 2 rockford amps, and 2 batteries.
what class is that in?
im thinking maybe ill get into this more maybe i will talk to some of you guys at the show and see what kind of awsome gear i should get.
