Brian, you see I am a reasonable guy, so you can come to the shop and I will let you use the meter in the shop.
Won't be until June 1, I am moving the stuff to the goat (old shop)

Not to jam the back and forth between you guys but this is where I'm wondering
how badly I will be thrashed in any comps I do decide to enter.... like this weekend coming up in Calgary and Lethbridge. My car is just a daily thats setup for music and to get loud with music, looks good IMO and can also go decent too. I have 2 battery's in the trunk and over 2k on the subs. just because of that I'm sure to be in against far more seasoned competitors in SS NW for certain. Would I not be considered a real amateur? I made the box myself and did all the install on everything.
I do not get deals from no one just buy the stuff and put in the trunk. Almost kinda feel like it's not worth it to compete in a way, the classes do not make alot of sense to me, you are penalized if you have over 2k and an extra battery or 2. I could have grabbed better batts but these were a good deal and do the job for me. I will be happy if I do ok but I'm not counting on it really. What do you guys think?
Just my .02

The past shows I've been to in calgary, just about everyone who entered, won a trophy. the classes are not usually full, so I would show up anyways....not to mention that bassrace and psyclone will be offered too and anyone can win those classes, I've seen rookies beat out pros in both those divisions... If nothing else you will gain valuable knowledge, and see the loudest guys in the world.....

Hey stryker,
It sounds like you got a good set-up...The purpose of the thread was not to scare people from competing. For the most part people have a great time, and like NOS said, most guys walk away with something. Brian and I go way back so our ranting is just in good fun...(it sure will be funny when he's crying the blues that his subs blew up just before competition day!)

Should i take out the back batts then? I want to have car running to take advantage of my Alt. I would prefer to leave batts in but they can come out if need be.
