oh ya for sure. I have 2 in the trunk, I don't get much volt drop at all running,never below 13.9. I wish i would have bought the Deka 9a31's now but the optimas were very cheap. SS 1-2 has no wattage limit? I guess I'll have to bring me some tools. My trunk is all niced up so I don't want to modify too much tho...
I have too much amp for that class tho.

dont quote me on this but if ur only clamping half ur rated power u should be ok for that class and it is your first show

ya the old sayin "run what ya brung" comes to mind. lol
I know more than most rookie's I'm sure, been into systems for a looong time just never made any shows as the timing was wrong. I jus hope the sun is shining. It'll be a good time.

Stryker,
I don't think you will have any problems with your gear, no matter what class you get placed in...You'll end up with something. By the way like to see you at our show on September 25/2011 in Creston BC. Only 5.5 hours from Downtown Calgary...

This is going to be a double point event so there should be some good competition, and you'll get to meet a few of the guys in person.

The voice coil size is limited to 2.5 inches in street stock A and B.
Most of the 2.5" VC subs I've seen are 600w rms or less. Choose carefully guys

pretty sure theres no limitations in coil size anymore , same with testones are alllowed
