just run it in street stock B, it is a single point and I sure if you bust a 50 out of then Don will be searching , 2 batts, is all u can have so un hook one , And unless you have the amps loaded down I doubt you be cranking out over 2K rms.

Bass race and psyclone you will have more fun in anyways, jsut be sure to qualify with a good score in bass race , or you wont get the chance to play,. This happened to one of my buddies year and half ago... He was not happy. It only allows 10 in a bracket.

Most of the 2.5" VC subs I've seen are 600w rms or less. Choose carefully guys
I forgot about this ruling, and the stamped basket idea from a couple of years ago...So my point again is Street Sock a and b should be for first year competitors, so they get a chance to learn something and try to get better every year, and not get slaughtered by people using this catagory to win a first place trophy.

The way I understand it. The "consumer" grade definition was too open to interpretation. So they went with the 2.5"VC size to clear that up. I was told this by 2 judges. Perhaps things changed again.

if you go on termpro and read all the rules for street stock a and b they never mention once about the voice coil. They say the class is restricted to "consumer grade" equipment. I went threw all of the definitions on the page and it doesnt break down what "consumer grade" means to them. The 2.5 inch voice coil would be easy enuff to argue as it does not show up in the 2011 rules. The judge may say different but the judges are suppose to use those rules so I would have to say to bad no voice coil limitation.

Unhooking one batt is doable for sure....
I do have over 2k RMS so thats the real issue ATM.

its tough because certain judges reenforce certain things but none of those things listed were enforced at finals his last year nor did they clamp so shouldnt be any issues at a local show
