Wow, that sure means a lot coming from someone who barely knows me, and has had very little participation in the board.

Being too lazy to use real words in a sentence has always been a pet-peeve of mine, so I'm not sure how you came to the conclusion that this is just because of the new ownership.

I'm still the same person I was before the ownership change, I just have a different set of rules I enforce. Sometimes it involves doing some things I may not agree with 100%, but that's part of the job.

As for the advertising... do you honestly think I have anything to do with that? Do you really believe I see a single penny of the money that is earned by the board? Hell, you'll notice I was the first person to sign up to GIVE money to the board. So, in reality, it's actually costing me money rather than me benefiting from it.

Now, I'll be 100% honest and say that the fact that I pay for advertising may have a bit to do with how strictly I enforce the rules. Take a look at things from my end though. Why should *I* have to pay for the right to post certain things on the board, but others can get away with it for free?

I can assure you that selling aeroports and sound deadener isn't nearly as lucrative as you probably think. The way I see it is that if I can afford to pay for advertising, then others can as well. If they choose not to pay, then that's their problem. They won't be benefiting from this free forum to be able to push their business as they had been doing in the past.

Btw, don't think I don't know why you're so bitter about the new ownership. If I remember correctly your first post was something along the lines of "Hey everyone... I'm going to be an admin faster than anyone else ever has been before!". Which you followed up by trying to work out a deal with Wade to take over part ownership of the board. This obviously never happened, so I'm guessing you're kicking yourself now that you weren't able to make good on your promise.

Im not taking sides or anything, but what you said there really doesnt make any sense to me. If they have to pay to Promote their business, then its not really free then is it?

*sigh*
i should have know some would miss the point, or catch it and atleast stir it up.

This forum wasnt restructured to give free advertising to companies. There are plenty of other forums that companie can go advertise on

Warnings do go away after the alotted time.

Regular members who come here for information or just to converse with like minded people have never had to pay for the site. Meaning: it's free. (unless they WANT to send me some cash... in which case I'll PM them my paypal info)

People who want to profit from the board will have to pay.
