It's a 1995 Chevy Impala SS, 350 LT1 V8.

The door speakers the BestBuy guy measured were 4ohm Clif Design 2way 6.5". I built a custom door template to fit them into the door. Stockers were 4x6.

I shouldn't have a problem shortly..I've installed my deck, hooked it up to amp, and now will be doing the doors this weekend. Hopefully the amp will improve the sound. I'm sure it will as I've already cut the deck power wires to them and will be wiring direct to the amp.

Still it's funny that he was getting a reading of 8.7 ohms or something like that from both fronts on the stock wiring harness.

 

Run new 14 gauge wires, and speakers will sound WAY better the more power you put to them.
