Amp cut off help

Amp cut off help

Hey guys i just put a system together and my amp is cutting off and saying current. Now the amp is a alpine m1005digital. 1000watts rms at 2ohm. I have a 18" audioque hdc3 with a dc lvl 5 recone kit with dual 1ohm. So i have it wired up to 2ohm and when i crank it it cut ou saying cur on the screen. I hav a second battery its a nsb 90. Its in a 03 chevy s10 also this sub should pump and it doesnt any reason why. I no the amp is not powering it enuff but it still should go. The box it 36x16x22 with a 2" slotted port it is tuned to 32 hrz. And i 5.93 cubed metres out side i think its 5.3 cubed inside any ideas why its throwing the cur sign. Plz let me know thnx. Ps i habe it grounded to. Bolt in the back were the third seat is could it be a bad ground

listen to your amp.

its shutting off saying current? check you voltage when this is happening. it is most likely going to be under the lower limit of the amps requirements.

your 1000watt amp can't create power out of nothing. your electrical system needs to be up to par first. so start there.
