Amp Problems

Hey guys, I'm having problems with my amp. I recently rewired my system, and now my amp turns on but the sub won't play. I rechecked my wiring everything is tight and right. The only thing I think of is that I added some more wire to my rem wire i have no idea if that would affect the signal. Please help

First thing is to disconnect the sub and put a test speaker on the amp. If no sound, then connect an iPod with headphone-to-RCA cable to the inputs. If still no sound, measure the batt and ground connections to make sure you have 12v+ and a good low resistance ground.

Past there, the amp needs to be benched.

Found what the problem is with my amp. There is a black piece behind where the ground and power enter that is broken. Now just need to find a repair shop in Minnesota.
