before you say anything, I read the first topic on the forum and it didnt help me
also feel free to call me a noob because its not far from the truth

so I got my system all set up except for the amp turn on lead
I have one wire left from my wiring harness and it is black with a white stripe and it says amp ground
is this where I connect the amp turn on lead too? if it is then it doesnt really make sense to me since it says amp ground. if not, then how do I set up the turn on lead?

 

that sounds like a ground wire. Amp turn on leads are usually blue, blue with white stripe, blue with red stripe etc...
