Bridging and more subs question
hey so just got some simple questions.... i should know the answer but i just wanted to make sure.
this is the back of the amp, i apologize that its a little hard to make out.

1) i don't think I've efficiently wired my subs (six XS-L106P5). right now they are just connected wired in parallel and to the first + and - closest to the REM. i'm not sure if i should change it to the descriptions directions for mono operation, also unsure as to what the Parallel Operation below it is for, im thinking its for multiple amps but i could be wrong :P
2) i wanted to upgrade again. i have the 6 tens right now, they are 4Ohm SVC, is it possible to add some more? it should be running at .67 ohms right now and I've heard its OK down to .25 (for burps) i was hoping for 10 tens. I'm sure that is too much though. is it just a problem of the amp not being able to get enough juice or over heating (which i can fix) or is it just too much to ask :P
enlighten me

If you have a manual for the amp, do follow the directions on how it's supposed to be wired up......10 4ohm subs all paralleled together will give you the .25ohm final load and wiring it wrong might smoke even that amp.....
For me it begs the question....with all you have going already, how much of an improvement are you hoping for? Adding 66% more cone area and upping the power may get you a Db or 2, but the volume of work required seems a bit much to me.....if you are competing with it I guess it's got merit, but for your daily driver it's sounds more like you want to up the "Wow" factor.....again, a valid reason to do it but mucho labour.......
Have fun with it, no matter what you decide to do......
