Driver side speakers not working?

Hey guys,

Having an interesting issue - Just hooked up my deck to my car, and I'm only getting sound from my passenger front/rear - My driver side front/rear appear to not be turning on.

Checked the wiring harness into the deck, all my wires are still nicely soldered and connected. Checked the speakers themselves, nice and connected.

Pulled out all the other unneeded cables for troubleshooting purposes - Still nothing. Only wiring harness is hooked up.

What on earth is possessing my speakers? I could understand maybe something going wrong on one speaker - maybe a crapped wire or something, but both, on the same side, at once? FML.

Did you check to make sure the 'balance' was centered. Don't laugh, it would not be the first time..

Easiest trouble shoot is to disconnect the DS speakers from the deck and use a spare speaker to see if it makes sound right at the deck. Then try just the front and then the rear. If there's a short, this should point out at least which speaker has it.
