it is much cheaper than bus bars. you can get away with ring terminals if you are not using too much wire. if you have a ton of wire bus bars are just much easier to work with.

the trick to ring terminals when u use alot of runs is to get terminals that are two or three times the size of the wire, this way you can stick 2 or 3 peices of wire into a single terminal. really helps to save on space and cost.

what i used to do is go to partsource and buy their 3/0 or 4/0 gauge terminals and just stick 2 or 3 wires (1/0) into a single terminal. but that's a whole new topic.
we have a surplus store out here that carries a lot of that stuff. i know they carry the 1/0 gauge but i'll have to see about the 3/0 or 4/0 gauge.
then again if i only have 4 runs of each, just using 1 terminal per run shouldn't be to hard to work with should it?

Pick up an Odyssey Battery there is a dealer in Burnside if you can't find one closer to Lantz.

yeah im going with the odyssey battery casue the NSB's are just too hard to find with out shipping from the startes. I've already called the odyssey dealer in burnside and got a price. I will have to order one casue they dont have any in stock but it beats having to shipping. so now its just a matter of money, gotta start saving

i would not get kinetik, get something good like NSB or Odyssey

where is the amp grounded to? if it's grounded to the frame that's a big issue. gotta ground it straight to the battery.

also doing the Big 3 will help sustain voltage when the vehicle is ON.
I was just re reading some stuff on this topic and I'm a little confused on the grounds. I'm not doubting Father Yuli's knowledge i would just like to know why I should be grounding right to the battery?

I have always been told that grounds should 3ft or shorter. can someone shed some light on this one for me?

You just want the resistance to be as little as possible so the shorter the cable the better, but you have to do what you have to do, if it's 4ft you won't be crucified but I would aim for the 1-3ft mark if possible.
