So i just got a 10" alpine x .. im putting it in a honda civic hatchback and I just wanted to get the dimensions for the box i would need to build the proper box to the specs of the sub oviously so the sub would sound to its best.... Can anybody help me out?

 

12.5 x 12.5 x 11 inches outside for a sealed box (0.49 ft^3 net internal after speaker displacement), and 12.5 x 14.5 x 18.5 inches outside (1.0 ft^3 net internal after speaker and port displacement)for a vented box with an 11 x 1 x 22 inch port will give you a 36 hz tune as per Alpine's manual.

 

yeah i checked the alpine site it says 1.25 cu ft for ported box and .50 to 1.0
Cu.Ft for sealed Box I just dont know how to find out the cu ft from measurements of boxes... I definately plan on doing ported box does everybody agree
