My amp

yes i know i have a "Cheap" set up im just trying to get the max i can out of it
My amplifier says it is 1 Ohm stable I think i wired them to 1 Ohm last year but dont remember also currently have my speakers Bridged 1 speaker per 2 channels and set to sub only thru the rca on my headunit i also have my level gain set to 2v which matches my headunit
on some music the amp goes into protect mode i would like to know if im putting to much power to my speakers or if they are underpowered i Also have a Shallow sub box that fits behind the seat of a 1995 dodge ram 1500 SINGLE cab truck with a Flip up center councle i do not know how many cubic feet the box is or how to messure it it hits pretty hard right now but i would like to work the kinks out
if you would like me to answer some questions feel free to ask and ill do my best.



heres what i want to do i want
the best wiring for deep hard hitting Bass 1ohm, 2ohm, 4 ohm?
Loud bass @ 75% volume with no protect mode activation
i would like to learn how to adjust my subsonic/phase.
i listen to alot of Rap/dubstep and a little rock

ive been into car audio since i was in my early teens im in my late 20's and i know a little but im kinda stumped on how to adjust this amp/speaker combo to sound better then it is with out protect mode enabling

if need be i can add photos of the wiring i use

I'm surprized nobody answered you.
Its a 4 channel amp, can be bridged to 2 channels.
One sub connects to each. both coils in paralell, should give you 2 ohm, so the amp shouldn't go into protect unless its really loud.

set your low pass filter to 100, set your subsonic filter to 25
If it still goes into protect, turn you gain down.
Last, if it still goes to protect, turn your subsonic filter up to 30.
