Run 4AWG through-out. Just get a distro-block which can be found at knuknoceptz.com

As far as speakers, look up reveiws on certain speakers. Thats the best way to compair. For me, I personally am IN LOVE with diamond audio... others may think its garbage though. DO research before you set your mind to anything.

Definitely consider the Eclipse pointsource speakers for the front and try the tweeters both high on the door and the dash. Leave the speaker wires long and use double sided tape to place into position. Nothing at all wrong with them in the dash. The pointsource speakers have a tweeter that is removeable to make them a true component with a outboard crossover. They sound amazing and it is exactly what you are searching for.

For the 6x9" in the rear, you can either use a duplicate set of speakers and leave them with the tweeter mounted in them (as they come factory) or drop to a cheaper set of 4way 6x9's.

You have a good size amp, keep the gain down and enjoy good sound from these speakers.

To be honest I am on a tight budget and don't have an issue with used speakers. I would love to stay under $200 for front and back, however, I could put the rear's on hold for the time being and spend more on the fronts. I'm not going for competition, just personal enjoyment.

I listen to everything from Rock to heavy metal, raggeaton, jungle, trance, hip hop, etc.

I do have a concern though as my lights will pulsate with the music already.

I have a 140amp Alternator and I believe 160 is the biggest available, but not really willing to drop that much.

At this point I will be keeping the 4awg wiring as I don't have plans at upgrading much further. I will have to pickup some new RCA's as well as the ones I'm currently using were a Princess Auto special :P

Thanks for all the feedback! I look forward to seeing what you guys can come up with

Do it once and do it right. Leave the rear speakers out for now. The pointsource speaker will deliver the results that you are seeking. I will PM you some info on pricing.
