Problem with left and right channel output

For starters i have been running an MTX TC4002 amp, which is 2 channel. I am currently running front and rears on this amp (the amp can take the 2 ohm load i am giving it).

After turning on my stereo this morning my left side has doubled in volume at any given level on the deck, while the right side has approx half the output. After checking the right and left ouputs on the amp for the ouput voltage i got .8 and 0 on the other (i was doing this at a lower volume).. Is there a chance i am having a problem with the power supply? or some other internal problem? Phase, wires, and speaker resistance are all fine.

Sound like a component in your amp has burn out.
I would look for a burnt resistor.

To verify the issue of the amp or speakers, swap the rca inputs left to right and right to left. If the problem goes to the other side when you do this, the issue is with the cd player. If it stay on one side, it is the amp or speakers. If it does stay on that side, swap the rca cables back again, now swap the speakers from right to left and left to right. If the problem moves sides, the issue is with the speakers, if the problem stays on the same side, the issue is with the amp.

Thanks, i did that already. I traced it to the amp. After talking to the last person to drive my car they said they heard clicking coming from the back of my car. Im assuming the rem shorted the amp out somehow.
