Wire A Sub in without amp

I have RCA Jacks on my receiver and they are on the amp aswell. So do i just connect the amp to the receiver via RCA jacks, bridge the 2 channels into 1 and wire my sub to the amp? Providing that I still have my 4 speakers attached to the receiver. or is there more too it?

That's pretty much it. RCA cables and remote turn on lead from the deck to the amp. And power wires from amp to battery.

Ok thanks. I saw this on ebay, obviously not the greatest amp, but would it work out ok for the 8" sub Im putting in?
