Ok now im bring this thread back. i currently have a box @ almost 7cubic feet with a PORT SIZE of 15 x 5 x 11.75. i have 2 JBL 1201s per coil down to 1.3 ohms ish. I just got 3 sheets of mdf for free, now its time to try my luck again. I gonna though my spair 18 as well. i was think of a box around 10 cubic feet 42 x 30 x 20 for a port i was gonna do something around 30 x10 x11. Good idea or bad. I know some of you are gonna tell me to scrap them and get DD's or an atomic.. loot is short. Gonna try and use what i got. Thx guys and gals

since u got 18's u are out of the regular street classes and window hight doesnt really matter...........i'd make something like this

these are external dimentions using 3/4 inch thick MDF.

this will give you 9 cubes total. fire 2 subs up. use four inch aero ports and fire them backwards towards the hatch. this should be much better than your current box. with some tuning and 2k of power (i think thats how much u have) could probably do 148+

if you can/want i'd suggest using 4 or 5 four inch ports for a box of that size. if you dont want to buy ports u can just using regular 4 inch pvc pipe. it wont be as good as the actual aero ports but should still be much better than your old box.
