I am building 2 independant sub boxes for my 15L5's that I will glue and screw together and wall off in my van. I was thinking of going either 5 cubes@30hertz with 58.5 inches of port, or 6 cubes@32 hertz with 68.25 inches of port. I listen to mostly rap music. I am also looking to hit some decent lows as well.

 

what year are the subs?

 

2005 dual 4 ohm kicker 15L5's.

 

Just watch how hard you hit with those you can break the tinsle leads on them. They will sound great, I've heard a few cars with them in....rummmmmble. Let us know how you make out.

 

My box before was 9 cubes @35 hertz with 100 inches of port. Final design I have come up with is 2 individual boxes, each 6 cubes@30 hertz, 73.5 inches of port per driver. Should slam pretty hard and hit those lows I really want. Just waiting on my amp and I'm gonna start on the building this week of my boxes hopefully. When I'm done I'll take lots of pics.
