Door Panel build

So what are you putting in that area?? Both sets of the RFs??
A couple more pics and I'll figure it out.....
For now, just the 2 pair of RF's. Going 2 way active on the 800.4.
At least then I'll be able to separately control by tweets & drivers TA. Although I'm not sure if my Pioneers Auto TA will work. Last time I tried, it told me to check my front speakers because it didn't find midrange sound.
Worse case is I have to manually adjust it without that starting point.
I'm looking at the old JL XR653-CS component 3 way set with an additional 6W3v3 for MB. Set comes with 6.5" MB, 4" Mid, 1" Tweet. Gonna have to leave room for that bottom W3v3 MB to fit in the future. It's a beefy little driver.
Thats what I'm aiming for ... but for now these cheaply built RF components sound good enough for me. lol

how is what your planning going to improve sq........im interested in your future plans
Then I'm assuming the set of JL XR653-CS (6.5", 4", 1" 3 way) and JL 6W3v3 for midbass should improve my SQ over the Rockfords. IMO....
My decks TA & EQ are only so good. So I'm going to have to work on processing after I get everything done speaker wise. After this project its back to a new enclosure and amp rack. I was going to do that first but like to hear my music so decided to beef up the front stage first. My 800a4 is doing a nice job, but I'm dieing to put my 800a2 back to use on some 6W3v3's.

I made the speaker rings yesterday. I'll take a couple pics when I finish them today.
