Door Panel build
Well after trying some mat that would only stay bent as long as I held it in place... I went to crappy tire and bought some cheap yet pliable mat. Here's 3 layers. When dried it should be strong enough for me to pull them out, trim and start to place the trim rings. Hopefully it'll be nice tomorrow.
Thanks and ya, sort of. I just finished taking them up to 5 layers thick. Planning on giving them some power so have to be solid. That and it was only crappy tire mat. After I get them out tomorrow I'll start to show them taking shape. I plan to separate the two drivers into their own chambers.
Kewl...
I've found that using a damping spray inside after the fiberglass cures (made by Cascade) will add to your deadening. Also, using nuts and bolts for your terminal connectors will make sure the enclosure doesn't leak where the wires come into the box. Use copper or steel hardware as they have the least amount of resistance for your connections.

After several hours of arranging speaker positions by laser. I found a good spot. All 4 speakers are fired to the same sweet spot between the seats. Gonna have to go by more mat to finish these puppies.
I know it's a little far down in the post but with regards to the resin(if anyone is still looking) we get ours from car quest. The one down the street from us also sells body shop supplies so we get decent stuff that hasn't been on the self for a hundred years. They also carry the mat and some nice mixing containers. Your could try your local one to see. By the way nice job so far!
