K..guys I need help!

I have a 15" sub in a escort wagon right now...I need to build a new box for it or do something cuz I am just not loud enough!...I have tried several different variations on the same box and nothing seems to increase my db's. I tried aero ports vs. slot ports..I have used ban pass(dont laugh) and custom made boxes by shops. I have changed the postions of the subs and metered it with subs facing forward, back and sideways...I have run out of ideas...I want to be louder without having to add any more equipment to the set up....any suggestions? I have run out of ideas!

BTW i have upgraded my wiring and I have also up graded my battery and my amp is 2000watts..loudest I can get it without any help is 146. on the new mic...is this all I am going to get? Help me please

you seem to be on the right track, what kind of sub is it? and how about some details of your current box (size, tuning).properly designed bandpass boxes (particularly the 4th orders) can proved a huge db's gain.but they are generaly large enclosures. them seem to be becoming very popular overseas

the sub is a RE recone using beyond audio motor assemble form an 18. ITs currently tuned to 48hz..any higher or lower frequency I drop dB. the box in total is I think 4cuft....My car is any ever day driver so I cant make the box too big that it takes up all the room in the back

Any chance of getting proper T/S specs for it?
