12's Suggestions for Less Than 1ft^3

Yeah, I worded that wrong haha. What I mean is, with my ported box, I have it tuned to 34Hz. A lot of my music that I like to turn up to let the sub work out usually has hits between that and 40Hz. I have a crappy Dual sub in my garage in 1.5 Cubed ported box, tuned to 45Hz, and I notice that it doesn't hit the lows as well as my Mmats. yes, it's only on 125W RMS, and it's a sub, but after looking at graphs produced by WinISD I was just getting a bit shaky, thinking I'd loose all my low end.
Denonite, can you post a video of that Type R, if it wouldn't be too much trouble? I'd like to see what I'm getting myself into
Anyone have suggestions on my porting thoughts? I know it IS possible, but I don't want to go ahead and do it and have retarded amounts of Port Noise.
Thanks to everyone who posted responses as well, you guys are getting me back on the scene haha. I've got to say, I'm pretty excited to be taking the audio in my car into this direction, sometimes a shake-up is needed!

Bump the porting question.
Also, there are 2 Pioneer Premier 12's for sale locally (Dual 2's, 1000WRMS/3000W Peak). I installed one for my buddy in 2.5 cubes ported, think it would do any good in a small 1.5 cubed sealed (Or possibly ported if it's possible) enclosure?

sorry Bro, won't be back in town for another few weeks, but it's the typical rear view mirror shaking, hear it at the back of the house kind of bass. Don't get me wrong, a ported box will deliver more bass, but for daily driving and listening, this is much more than needed and has to be turned down most of the time. If you're looking for irritate the neighbors bass, then you need a ported box and power.

Here's the idea I came up with. Not going to have time to take the measurments until later this week, but heres the plan (The drawing is not to scale haha)
Planning on having ~2 feet cubed before port displacement (Depending on whatever subs I end up going with), and port using 6" pipe with an elbow to accomodate the turn (I need 25" of port lenth (Says a calculator) for each sub, so without an elbow the lenth would not be possible)
Can I port the boxes this way, or will it just end up sounding like crap?
