lol, yea the L7's can really take some abuse.
I daily drive 2 10's at roughly 800-1000wrms a piece. no smell of smoldering coils.

 

Nothing against Kicker even if they're not my cup of tea. There are however many other subs that sound better and still get very loud in a daily driver. The L7 does do very well in spl with low-medium power levels.

BTW, if you want to talk abuse, I know a few competitors using four(4) Orion 1200D's per H2. That's well over 5000rms per driver. No cooked coils in there either. Just fyi.

If I can find someone selling the right stuff, I might give the Orions a shot but I don't want to pay brand new prices for them.
