literally over the weekend we did a sound off between my 12w7 in a ported box powered by a HD 750 and my friends 2 12w3's in a sealed box powered by a 500/1, needless to say my system was not significantly louder and without a dought if he had a ported box his would have been WAYYYY louder

lol thanks but now i want more, a 1000/1 its just the HD fit in the car so much better

750 has much better SQ than 1000. I'd just buy another 750.

lol yea that is an option but 12w7 is a single voice coil so i cant run 2 amps to it i would love to run 2 HD's but as u probably saw in my other thread just the 1HD has me blowing fuses continuously lol

Awww, ya I forgot about the single 3ohm coil. Your right 1000/1 is perfect match!! Or just get the 750 working properly.

if only i could get my hands on a reasonably priced HD1200/1, that would really rock my car but back to the discussion i would stay with 2 12w3's in retrospect i would have loved to run a dual setup but i was too much trunk space 2 12w3's pound!!!!
