Hello,
What type of rear speakers would you recommend for a 5.1 set up? I have 6.5 type X comps up front and am going to use the Alpine din center speaker.
Should I get another set of type x comps or just stick with cheaper 6x9s?
I will be using the system for 5.1 concert/music dvds and the odd movie.

personally, if money was no object, I would like to keep all drivers the same to ensure tonal accuracy. However, as money is always an object, I would go with drivers from the same company in a cheaper version since the rears are not as critical...type S or R 6x9's will work well.

I guess I will keep the 6x9s I have for rears...can always upgrade in the future.
