3 way speaker selection opinions.
Im looking to build an active 3 way front stage.
per side
2 x 8' mid bass
2 x 4-> 6.5 inch mid range
1 x Tweeter.
This will be for my bass racer and ill need something that can keep up ( as best as it can with 4 15s)
I have yet to select which processor ill be using but so far i like what i read about the 360.3.
What speakers would be recommend.
Dynaudio 172s for 8s
jl audio w3v3
jl audio zr800
etc.
which tweeter / mid range?
midrange n tweeter amps?

I think moral might be out of my price range...

Depends on your price range. DLS makes a nice 3-way set that includes an 8". Or you can do it on a budget and order seperate speakers from partsexpress/solen/madisound etc.
Check out the reviews on the Dayton Reference gear. You could put together a very nice 3-way set for cheap using them. Driver selection will also depend on install locations.

My problem is there are so many raw drivers. I try look at ts parameters and response curves but I can never decide which 8 to match w which mid range and tweeter. I have about 1000x2 for the 8s and don't have 2 4 channels for the midrange and tweets yet
The 8s have to like smaller sealed aps, take allot of power.
I can put the 8s plus mid range and tweeter easily on door or tweeter on apillar.

Closed my store last September and bought a business in Alberta. Opportunity came up that we could not say no to. I miss the shop and all that we were doing there, left a big hole in the city for custom work that is for sure.
