Its just like that guy that was on here 5 years ago telling everyone that he had a van with 24 kicker subs. I have yet to let him forget that he tried to bullshit us. By the way the guy is still on here. I won't mention his name but it starts with a B.
I remember that too. It was probably wise that he changed his user name, because I stopped taking anything seriously that was posted under that first name. Only last year did I realize that the "B" guy you mentioned was the same guy who went by that original user name that started with an "S"

Granted, he has smartened up, and has become reasonably knowledgable since then, so I'll give him credit - but yes, in his first years he did pull more BS than the Kicker stunt.

ok to the OP, I considered going with one of these too, but the price was an issue for me. From the one demo i heard,it was loud and output was great but $400 + $$$ for a box i couldn't afford it.

As for power, JL recommends optimal power is 250w, so the 250/1 is perfectly matched for it.

Lightbulb

The L7 8 is supposed to be a good performer. We stuck 4 into a tiny sealed box in a regular cab pickup years ago and it hammered pretty well.
