It probably had nothing to do with the bass.... most likely a bad impact sensor somewhere in the car. Get it checked out... cuz if the lights on and you happen to need the airbags... they wont work

It went off after restarting the van. Sort of a "soft code". I'm going tocheck it again today, but I think the bass did play a role as it has never lit up before, and hasn't come on again yet, then again I haven't listened to the same song at the same level since. lol

I've seen dummy lights come on at low voltage... perhaps your slamming bass brought down your voltage so much it popped a code... disconnect your batt for 5 minutes and see if that will reset the code... whats your battery meter at?

My voltage does dip quite a bit, but I don't think that would be it. It dips more when I'm testing with the engine off then when I'm driving. I have a 200amp H.O. alt.

I checked with my CT code reader and nothing shows. Just some old lean code I forgot to erase. I'm not certain however that my reader can read ABS or Airbag codes. I think it's just for engine codes.

It hasn't come back on since that one time. Just still bugs me...

keep your code reader in your van... the scanner might not beable to read it unless the light is acctually on
