***Back in the day ( like 10 years ago ) I use to take alot of crap on here about Massive Audio.. I love there stuff its my brand please dont reply if your going to bash ! **


So I had this same issue a few months back when I bought the truck the amp that came with it a MTX mono block ... I had a cheapy walmart amp and hooked it up with the same wiring and it worked fine .. So I bought some used Subs ( RW12 stage2's) and a massive blade amp replaced all the power wire with high end 4G nice fuse block proper ground and it worked great ... So a week ago I saw a Massive Ca200 amp for sale on a local used site ... I got nostalgic its the amp I use to run back in the day and I loved it .... The p[rice was good ( still alot ) but the amp was mint ... I bought another amp and boxes off the guy as well he seemed like a good guy blah blah showed me his stuff swore the amp worked and only took it out because of the big power draw..... Well I got it home and Yup amp is f'ed ... I hooked it up and turned it up and has soon as the deck gets power it starts buzzing REALLY loud .... then thumps loud when turned off and the "over power" comes on as soon as the deck turns on .... When the the MTX did the same thing a google search seemed like it was a internal power supply issue .. also when the mtx did it I swapped out RCA's and it did the same thing ....

Here's the kicker after the Massive amp started doing that today I hooked up the cheap amp I boughtalong with a Marathon us2100 and everything worked great .... I took a couple short vids .... I just quickly wired up the cheap amp so I just crammed the 4G on LOL

Im going to take it in to the local massive distrutor tomorrow to get it looked at just looking for some ideas right now.. I going to email the guy I bought it from might I dont expect him to do anything Afterall its my fault for taking people at face value ( its my biggest downfall) ....
