Amp turns on, but has no sound.
Alright so here is the deal.... My first time installing a Sub and Amp ever and I am having a few issues...
So the Amp is a Kenwood KAC5001PS and the Sub is a Kicker 600W 4 ohm. My deck is a older Pioneer. So far I have wired everything, and the amp turns on the light on the front (red). Sometimes it blinks, while other times it will go with the beat of the music or stay solid (no idea). Battery wiring is 4 Gauge with no skimpy connections. Everything is held tightly and everything is as it should. I have my RCA's and Speaker wire hooked up as well. I can not get the sub to put any sound out at all. I tried different speaker wire and it still has done nothing so far.... I adjusted the gain and a few other settings just to see if thats why and I still have had no succes. I have the ground bolt in the floor panel and I grinded away the paint as well. Any suggestions?

SO after a few hours of fiddling with wiring, the subwoofer would still not boot up. So as a last ditch effort I took apart the subwoofer to find that one of the wires on the inside was not connected. Yay!, or so I thought. After crimping it back together, the subwoofer still refuses to work. I am just plain pissed right now that I cant get it to work. HELP =)
