any one ever have this problem?
well i pulled my eq out last night and tore into it, but the weird thing is, is that i used some adapters, the little rca plugs female both sides to still have music without the eq, and this morning on the way to work it did the exact same thing, i am going to pull my rca cables apart, luckily i have the ends that screw apart, and check them out, maybe the fiddling with the **** on the eq just gave it a little boost of juice to make sound again? back to the drawing board!
Hey
I have had an EQQ and 2XS with bad solder joints right at the point where they meet the PC board. Took me 3 weeks to figure the problem out. Heat them up with a soldering iron to reflow the solder, you might notice the copper from the PC board move when you do this. If this is the case scrape some of the green coating away and solder a wire across. If you are testing the interconnects check the continuity within 5cm or so from the end of the barrel, this is the most likely place for it to break.
