I am debating on buying this amp, but so far the only experience i have had with Visonik was a tiny lil "300W rms" 2 channel amp i had a few years ago. I was very impressed by the small amp, i just wondered how good this bigger amp would be. Some friends of mine have Visonik amps (V4000XD, which is huge in comparison, and the V2000T which is fairly close to this amp's specs). The V2000T seems quite impressive on 3 10" Visonik subs which is what my friend has in his Sonoma. But i wonder how this amp will do on two different 15's. I know, i should at least take the time and effort to get 2 of the same 15, but at t he moment i have 2 different amps with different power ratings, both running their own 15.
I have a Soundstream SPL15, and a Resolution Audio 15" (Thanks Smartass in Ingersoll). The SPL15 is rated at 400W and the RA is rated at 500W. The RA is dominating right now, so i think i might get rid of the SPL15, and possibly get a second RA sub.
I just wondered if anyone out there had experience with this amp that could tell me how it really is for power. It has 100A worth of fuses (4x25), but that doesnt always mean lots of power.
